CEQ Chair Brenda Mallory Marks One Year Since Creation of WHEJAC – March 2022

The White House Environmental Justice Advisory Council (WHEJAC) has provided advice and recommendations to the Chair of CEQ and the White House Environmental Justice Interagency Council on how to address current and historic environmental injustices, including recommendations on the Justice40 Initiative, the beta version of the Climate and Economic Justice Screening Tool (CEJST), the Environmental Justice Scorecard, and updating Executive Order 12898.
