Overview

The Communities Health & Economic Alliance Foundation (CHEAF) is proud to announce the launch of a new fellowship program aimed at supporting underprivileged minorities and women pursuing medical degrees. This initiative is designed to alleviate the financial burden associated with medical education, thereby fostering diversity and inclusion within the medical profession.

Objectives

Promote Diversity and Inclusion: Increase the representation of underprivileged minorities and women in the medical field.
Financial Support: Provide financial assistance to cover tuition fees, books, and other essential expenses related to obtaining a medical degree.
Mentorship and Networking: Offer mentorship opportunities and create a network of professionals to support fellows throughout their medical education and early careers.

Fellowship Details

Eligibility: Applicants must be medical students who identify as underprivileged minorities or women. They must demonstrate financial need and a commitment to serving underserved communities.

Award Amount: Each fellowship will cover a significant portion of the recipient’s tuition fees and provide a stipend for educational expenses.

Duration: Fellowships will be awarded annually and can be renewed based on the recipient’s academic performance and continued financial need.

Application Process
